AIRE Cougar Cataraft
$3,395.00
Add to Cart:
The Cougar is the inflatable that bridges the gap between self-bailing rafts and single tube catarafts.
It's low 18" height means most winds pass right over it.
It is easily motorized (so you can make good time through frog-pond waters).
It carries more load than most of us need (or want to carry).
It is super stable, even with heavy loads.
The 18' Cougar is an excellent choice for extended river trips where hauling lots of equipment is essential as the four tubes deliver an incredible amount of displacement. This is the boat we use here in Alaska to ferry ATVs and ARGOs across streams. Yep, the Cougar is that stable!
If you are not hauling barrels of fuel or off road vehicles you will most certainly enjoy the very shallow draft for those low water trips. Though we would never recommend a regular cataraft (single tube) on shallow streams we have no problem recommending the Cougar. Go ahead and float the Ivishak! This boat will do it!
Repair kit included.
Frames Sold Separately.
